| Those following my saga... here's an update. II : Since I picked up my Z several weeks ago, i haven't driven her a much. Maybe just once to the car wash, and that was on a hazzy day with lots of overcast ( dark weather ). And I realy couldn't get a good look @ the tint error. So I thought I'd wait for a better day with lots of sun. I got it. Lastnight and today. Very obvious! Even though the drivers side window is tinted it still looks beige with the beige glass. And the rest of the windows look charcoal or dark blue with the correct colored glass. Called the tint shop 1st today. 1st told them about the air bubbles. Said no problem, bring it in and we'll fix it. Ok. That's that. Now about that peice of grease or smudge in the drivers window between the glass and the new aftermarket tint. He said he remembered that and it was abbrassion on the glass. Hmmm... ok. And he agreed he told me that it didnt match with the other windows even with the new tint on the car. The tinter told me when he removed the rest of the previous tint he noticed that the new drivers side glass did not match the rest of the car, and he informed the owner of the shop. The owner of the shop told me nothing.... I called the shop. Of course he is on vacation this week. But the guy who helped me is going to leave a message for him and he agreed that they should fix this mistake. He said he didn't know there were 2 colors of glass for the 300zx out there.
